Future of Us isn’t just a festival – it’s a new, year-long organizing layer for cultivating the future of creative civic culture in San Francisco, as co-imagined with grassroots civic visionaries experimenting with civic possibility.

The inaugural class brings together writers and performing artists, technologists and family service providers, entrepreneurs and healers, DJs and administrators, all connected by a shared commitment to experimenting our way to the kind of civic life we need to collectively thrive.

The festival will serve as a mid-year capstone for the Fellows to share their visions through creative community activations. Throughout the rest of their Fellowship, they’ll build on the momentum, investing in community, and translating their energy into pop-ups, partnerships, and activations across the city. The Fellowship is just the beginning – Fellows are invited to stay involved, join the Collective, mentor future classes, and continue to nurture and grow their visions for San Francisco’s creative and civic future through the connective layer we’re building together.
