ABOUT SUZIE
Suzie is systems-minded, socioecologically curious, and future-thinking. As a fellow, she’s exercising a belief in the possibility of greater social and institutional trust. She believes in public systems that aren’t afraid to change, but don’t reinvent the wheel. She believes in a California where civic decision-makers can create systems that are responsive to real data, deeply human, and held together by a shared mission for long-term, interspecies thriving.
She is a design researcher, with experience spanning from the UK government’s Policy Lab to designing workshops connecting undergraduate fashion students to garden-grown dye plants. She is also an artist, most at peace when weaving, sewing, watching mycelium grow, taking photos, or working with wood.
