Rooted in adrienne maree brown’s philosophy of "pleasure activism" — the belief that people are moved by joy, not guilt or fear — Tania has worn every hat in grassroots organizing, event production, and movement building, always translating idealistic goals into impactful, collective action. A city where residents are moved not by guilt or fear, but by the irresistible pull of joy, creativity, and collective belonging.

Bay City 2O51

Imagine it's 2051. Twenty-five years after the Future Culture Collective was launched, we gather to celebrate all that our community dared to build together. Under the wise leadership of people who grew up in Bayview and Hunters Point, our network took action on many fronts to build this thriving, joyful, healthy neighborhood. Once a textbook case of environmental injustice, we are now a model for how to build a cooperative, abundant, peaceful world. From clean air, land, and water to healthy families and habitats to a stable, equitable economy to an expressive, artful culture, it took all the puzzle pieces you envisioned back in 2026 and all our energy, innovation, and perseverance!

Re-trace the footsteps you took and share your unique story so we can honor your contributions.
