ABOUT VANESSA
Vanessa is a digital marketing professional and youth leadership advocate with extensive experience supporting San Francisco Bay Area arts organizations, startups, and community-focused initiatives. Her journey began as a youth activist in South Carolina, where she first witnessed the power of civic engagement and discovered how to merge advocacy with digital marketing to amplify underrepresented voices. Vanessa sees civic culture as an intrinsic need to stay connected to the decisions that shape communities, spanning social engagement, technology, environmental sustainability, and media. She is deeply committed to empowering Generation Z with the tools and support they need to become civic leaders, and believes that when young people are given the right resources, their potential to drive meaningful change is limitless.

VISIONA spirit that never dies, a city that continues to challenge the norm by reimagining what society can be, both through its laws and social consciousness
Sincerely, San Francisco
Sincerely, San Francisco is a time capsule event that blends digital and physical mediums to collectively retell the present and reimagine the future of the city. Through a multi-step, multi-sensory activation, spanning audio, visual, physical, and communal elements, attendees are invited into authorship, contributing their individual perspectives through guided prompts. Moving from personal reflection to partner exchange to collective creation, the experience captures the lived hopes, anxieties, and aspirations of a city in constant transformation. Each contribution becomes part of a living chronicle, asking: What do we carry forward? What do we leave behind? What do we hope for San Francisco?
