SOCIAL FUTURESDISTRICT 6ABOUT TIDA
Tida is a labyrinth creator and facilitator, and the founder of The Collabyrinth. She creates impermanent organic labyrinths as frameworks for reflection, transformation, and navigating change. Her work brings together ancient labyrinth forms, natural materials, and facilitated experience to help individuals and communities slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with choice, courage, and possibility. For Festival of Us, she offers the labyrinth as a civic architecture for reflection: a place to pause, remember one’s agency, and consider what small act can be chosen now.
INTERESTSGrief Education and Support, Labyrinths
VISIONA civic culture where reflection comes before response. It is not an afterthought, but part of how people make choices together. In this future, public spaces help people slow down, remember their own agency, and move from abstract hope into embodied trust and action.
NOW or never
A Civic Labyrinth for Possibility
In a labyrinth of flowers and greens, Now or Never invites participants to walk the distance between abstract hope and embodied trust. Each person enters with a prompt, carries a lived memory into the labyrinth, and arrives at the center with a question: what is asking for attention now? On the way out, reflection becomes a small act of public commitment.
The use of these materials are not for decoration. They make the question physical, visible, and tangible: what is fragile, alive, temporary, and worth tending now?
