ABOUT KEVIN
Kevin is a service designer, researcher, musician, and trilingual community builder whose life and identity are, in his own words, a palimpsest that maps uniquely onto the cultural history of the Bay. Since arriving in San Francisco at the start of the pandemic, he has witnessed the city's quiet resurgence and the resilience of its artistic communities, with Asian American creative spaces playing a key role in his own development as a musician and artist. Rooted in a professional background centered on care as a design principle, Kevin brings a rare combination of skills to civic life: visual scribing, facilitation, and narrative design.

VISIONKevin’s vision for the city's future is centered around the image of mycelium. He envisions cycles of care and exchange, a "creative ferment" that leads to unexpected possibilities and relations.
Economic Soul Mapping
Subtitle
Participants will map their “Economic Soul,” exploring values around labor, ownership, and equity. There will be low-pressure space to explore tensions of wealth through such avenues as “Economic Tarot”. In the end, participants will create a living visualization of community collective economic values.
