ABOUT BRYAN

Bryan’s work focuses on designing affordable, sustainable communities at David Baker Architects. He's drawn to the work of surfacing missing perspectives and bringing underrepresented voices into the planning process. His projects include community-rooted cultural work in SF's SoMa Pilipinas Cultural District and Art on the Beltline, a seasonal public art program in Atlanta. Beyond his architecture practice, Bryan serves on the board of a nonprofit supporting after-school care in the Mission and Bernal Heights, co-hosts a monthly music jam at the Rite Spot, and volunteers with the American Institute of Architects.

VISION

Neighbors, especially missing voices, dreaming and designing the future.

Dreamblock

San Francisco is full of aging, unaffordable housing, and a lot of neighbors with ideas about what to do about it. Dreamblock invites you to get your hands on the city, literally. Working together around a 3-foot physical model of a San Francisco block, participants are invited to reshape, reimagine, and rebuild — dreaming up creative solutions to affordability and sustainability in our built environment. No expertise required, just curiosity and a collaborative spirit.
